The Otolaryngology Interest Group

What is Otolaryngology?

Otolaryngology, commonly called ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat), is a medical and surgical care to patients with head and neck pathology. Many medical students and physicians are unaware that otolaryngologists are actually surgeons who treat a diverse set of disorders. What draws many to choose this specialty is the focus on patient quality of life, the variety of the patient population, and the ability to treat diseases medically and surgically. This club hopes to spotlight this specialty at EVMS, provide interested students with resources, and teach relevant skills to students regardless of their intended specialty.
